Camera Battery is not charging full

I have had these cameras for about a year without problems. This week I tried charging 2 cameras on 2 original charging cables and both are suddenly having issues. After fiddling with the cables they finally started charging very slowly. They have both been plugged in for 3 days and one has charged to 23% and the other 24%. The white light is on but there is no further progress. 

Is there a fix other than keeping the cameras plugged in?

Hi im no expert just a user.. Just wondering how cold it is where you are as thats the only thing i can think may be affecting them other than faulty cables... They wont charge in really cold temperatures

Thanks for the note! cold temperatures are not a factor.

Also, I unplugged them, cleaned the charging port area and put them back on to charge.  5 hours later one went from 24% to 16% charge and the other went down 1%.  Very strange.

Strange indeed... Im sorry i cant be of  help... I gather youve tried factory reset?

I know it’s been a while, and I’m sorry to hear about the situation. Let’s sort this out. 

 

A few questions: are you using the provided cable and adapter when charging your devices? Also, have you checked for any possible dirt build up on the pogo connector? If not, check for it and use a clean, dry cotton swab to clean it off.
