Hi, it is now the 3rd consecutive time I am facing the same problem with my Nest doorbell (gen2 - wired) , namely the coating that is on the front side and camera is coming off and starts peeIng off. The last time my device was replaced was at the end of September 2023. Surely this is no longer acceptable! Am I the only one facing this issue? My doorbell was already replaced twice with a new one. I am assuming they'll have it replaced once more considering this one is still within the legal warranty period of 2 years. But moreover, I hope that Google and Nest have in the meantime managed to provide the quality a customer expects and deserves! I also noticed similar threads on the subject here but they were already closed. There Google advised to buy an aftermarket sleeve!? Isn't that ridiculous? Nowhere in the user manual such advice is being given! And then again, why don't they include it in the package? This is clearly a quality issue!
Regards,
Steve.

Hi @SteveRogers
You can try contacting support directly again. For what it is worth, I have the newer doorbell and the material is different so no peeling.
I hear you about the peeling and you are not alone.

I already received an answer from Google support where they ask my product details and some pictures to initiate another swap.
No complaints, and nothing but praise for the Google support team and their quick and efficient response!
