Camera constantly going offline several times in a day randomly no wifi or power issue

My outdoor cameras regularly go offline for 15 to 20+ minutes. Been doing it for a long time, like many others, I've just gotten used to it, but it's getting annoying that this keeps happening. 16 times in the last 7 days. Different combinations of times of day, duration of disconnect, etc. My Fios internet is great, signal strength at cameras location are great, power supply is great. No idea here

Note: camera is in a cool shaded area all day no moisture.

Hi there,

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you. First off, I have some questions I’d like to ask you.

  • Do you still need help with this issue?

  • Do you have any routines set up where the cameras turn off?

  • Home Away/Assist settings turning off the cameras?

  • What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?

  • Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?

  • If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.

I have 2 Nest Cameras that continue to go offline.  All my other devices stay online.  This is extremely annoying.  Only way to get the cameras online is to restart the modem and wifi which is not good when you are connected with other devices working from home.  And when out of town the cameras are off with no way to reset the modem and Wi-Fi.  We are going to have to go with another camera manufacturer.
