Camera history

Why did the history capability change? I cannot scroll through time only get clips from events. This is not what I want.

Do you have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, which provides 24/7 recording, or do you have a Nest Aware subscription, which provides only event video history?

I have 24 seven recording. On my iPad. It just changed this afternoon to this new version on my phone my iPhone it’s still the old version that I was familiar with anybody have information about what’s going on? On the iPad I can’t toggle back-and-forth between history and live. I have to close out the camera view and re-open it to come back to live.

Yes and was told by customer service it is a IOS Apple platform issue and they are working it.

I have the same issue. I have been using Nest products since 2014 and loved them, then google bought them out and the google home app is the absolute worst. I cannot successfully scroll through my footage and then if I manage to find what I want to see I can’t seem to make a clip of it. I don’t understand why something that worked so well previously has been changed to something that doesn’t offer the same functionality.

Yes, I noticed that just changed this afternoon on my iPad. All of a sudden it’s only clips what’s going on and how do you toggle back to live? The live button is gone now.

I got the new version on my iPhone this afternoon, but not on my iPad.

In the new version, go to your camera in the Google Home app and under the camera view, click on the 3 vertical bars; they'll change to horizontal bars with a dot in the front of each bar, and there is now a vertical 24/7 timeline.

Everything has changed around.

I just discovered some thing on my iPad. I have to turn it vertical. I didn’t used to have to do that now I get the ability to scroll through the timeline and see a whole different view. I noticed on my camera which you hold vertical and when you turned it landscape, it looks similar to the way. My iPad was so then I turned my iPad vertical and saw this different view Interesting
