I've got multiple nest cameras at multiple homes. Sometimes when the cameras detect movement, it makes the cameras lose connection to the internet.
I'd make an educated guess (as a software developer), when the motion event is triggered, the camera attempts to send a request to note the event, however, it appears as though some of these requests are causing the cameras to lose connection and not record anything at all for that time, thus defeating the purpose of needing recordings when there is movement.
