Camera setup light won’t turn blue

I’m using my nest camera on a pole building. I initially added it but my WiFi wouldn’t reach that far. I ran a new cat5 line and installed a new WiFi router in the barn. I removed my camera then charged it and a trying to add it. I’m getting a solid white light but it won’t turn blue

well I reset the camera after reading a few blogs here. I was able to get the camera on but when I walked out with it to the barn the video stream went black. I have a new WiFi router that is going off my one in the house. Do I need to do something different?

All of my other cameras work fine but none of them are away from the house like this one

Are you using the same network name (SSID) on your new Wi-Fi router in the pole building that you used when you first set up the camera?

Hey folks,

 

I’m sorry to hear that. Let’s sort this out —  a few questions: how far is your camera from the router? What type of camera is in question? Do you have an Android phone or iPhone? What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)? Are there other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi where the camera is connected to? Also, were there any changes to your WiFi network?

I'm having a similar problem.  Removed my 2nd gen wired indoor camera from the app.  Then tried to set it up again.  But when I plug it in, only the green light comes on (not blue) and the app keeps looking for the "joining device" and then finally says something went wrong and I can't go any further.  And apparently there's no way to do a factory re-set.
