Can I save a video recording beyond the clip?

We have the maximum clip length set to 3 minutes. Several times we've had bears walk past our camera and it records a clip of about 15 seconds but the bear keeps moving/walking around. We can watch the continued movement but it is not part of the clip. How can we extend the saved clip? We have all the necessary subscriptions.

Unfortunately, the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells that get installed in the Google Home app do NOT have the capability to create manual clips from video footage that is NOT part of an event. That capability only exists in the older cameras and doorbells that get installed in the Google Nest app.

Some customers in this forum have reported using their phone's screen capture software to capture such footage.
