Can't See Cameras Anymore

We switched iPhones from 10 to 16. Once we did, cannot view camera on doorbell and the other 2 cameras outside. Why did this happen? Try to reconnect and it is not letting us to view. I deleted the previous Google app from my phone, redowload app and it will still not connect to either of the cameras. Anyone know why this is happening?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

When we've upgraded phones, all that we've done is to log onto the Google Home app on the new phone using the same Google Account we've used on our old phone, and (if you have more than one) selecting the same Google Nest "home/structure".

I upgraded from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 16 last month and that's all I did.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues viewing your doorbell and two other cameras on the Google Home app after switching from an iPhone 10 to an iPhone 16. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you! 

To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:

  • What model are the doorbell and outside cameras?
  • Are you using the same Google account on the iPhone 16 as you were on the iPhone 10?
  • Do you have more than one home structure? If so, are you selecting the correct one? Here is a link that will guide you to verify it: Organize your homes and devices in the Google Home app.
  • When you try to reconnect the cameras, what specific error messages or behavior do you see in the Google Home app?
  • Have you performed a factory data reset on your cameras?
