My Nest Doorbell kept going offline today so I decided to factory reset it. Now I can't re-add it through the Home app. Once I scan the QR code it looks for the device and then eventually says "Try moving closer to your nest doorbell". Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

I had the same problem today. Live offline and unable to add device to app after factory reset on iOS. Luckily I still had an android device and I was able to connect the doorbell on it. I didn't enjoy it too long because the video preview worked for 2 hours.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried adding it through an iOS device as well. No luck, unfortunately.

Hello AndersHolst,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Just a few questions: what is the led light on the Nest Doorbell after your factory reset? Have you tried setting it up right next to your router?
@Pazcyn, I'm glad you're able to reconnect it on the Google Home app. Check out this link to learn more about the Nest Aware Subscription.
I look forward to your response.
Thanks,
