Can't connect to assisting device
but i my case the answer was just a little bit different
the issue is..
I bought a Nest cam (battery) duo pack . After installing the first Nest cam the setup of the second cam wouldn't pair. Google Home's respond was : Can't connect to assisting device.
After hours and hours of trouble shooting i noticed a part of the septup instructions that said 'The LED light on the device has to be blue ( ready for pairing) .
The LED light on my second cam was 'Green' or somtimes white , depening if it was connected to an adaptor Seems as if the Nest cam was already sort of paired ( not correct/fully) .
To solve this issue i did a full factory reset (reset button 10 seconds , yellow light blinks 4 times and the 2 more seconds)
The Nest Cam fully reboots, White light > then a blue light. Connected the device to a 220v USB adaptor (instead of a usb port of a device)
while the blue light was on , the setup procedure went smooth ( i did start with the troubling device this time and followed with the first cam i earliers disconneted as adviced in the other post.
