It seems things have taken a step back from the Nest app to the Google Home App. I pay for the Nest Aware service (v2) and used to be able to create custom clips and timelapses using the Nest app on my laptop. Now that I have added 3 new Google outdoor wireless cameras (that are wired with power), I have no way to create timelapses or custom clips. There is a chunk of audio (Coyotes howling in my backyard) that I want to create a new clip for, but since it didn't trigger any video there is no clip to download.
This seems like a step backwards to me. I signed up for Nest Aware because of all the features it had such as Timelapes and custom clips. The Google Home App has been a disappointment to this point. I also cannot view full history of my Google Nest cams in the Google Home App. This was all available in the Google Nest App.
Are there plans to get to feature parity with the Google Home App compared to the full featured Nest App?

Hi! I also deplore this situation. It is a major flaw in the new version of the cameras and the Google Home app. I have filed a request in the comments section of the Google Home app to correct this. You can access the comments section in the app when you are viewing one of the cameras. I hope that Google will listen to their customers.

We've been waiting for feature parity with our older cameras for our new Google Nest Camera (Battery) since purchasing it in early Sept. 2021.
