Ok I have a bunch of issues going on, but I'd like to tackle just 2 of them. One is priority. When I get a notification of an event, I can pull down my notification bar and view a preview of it. Very helpful considering if I click it and launch the home app, I can't view a single thing most of the time. However, often times live view will work but as for events..... Nothing. I've done no troubleshooting besides restarting my phone. My card was expired and my subscription needed renewed after being active for 2 years. So I went a week without a plan. When I got it back it only worked for a short time now I can't view events.
The second issue is my nest doorbell. It seemed to always have a really bad battery life... It does and it stayed dead for about 5 months because I got tired of having to take it off to charge it. I think the piece is kind of jammed down in there a little now but when I fully charged it again after all this time, the light is on but no one is home. All I got is a black screen when trying to view video. However when you walk by it the light comes on as of it was monitoring an event.
Side projects; I initially set it up on one wifi, then installed the Google wifi and some cameras are on one wifi and some are on the other. Is there an easier way then removing the camera and losing all event history and then factory reset? I have a Chromecast with Google TV and there is a nest app. However my nest hub is the only thing that is on the nest app... What's the deal with that? Finally, my wifi points seem to not work all the time and one of them says offline but you can hey Google it and it will answer questions and broadcast to it even. I think one of them might be working but I can't edit the offline one and the other, I can be 30 feet from and only have 1 bar of wifi. So there is those. Not as important as first section, but if they are quick easy answers, I'd like to know.
