Can the wall switch "override" the Nest Floodlight motion sensor?

I'm considering this product but I'm not sure it will work the way we need it. Thanks for your advice and comments on the following.

At times, we want the motion sensor to turn on the light but we also want to eliminate every deer or small animal turning it on overnight. How can that be achieved?

Other times we just want to force the light to say on and bypass the motion sensor. Can this be done with the wall switch? Voice control? Both? Other floodlights allow switching between modes using the wall switch and I wonder if this can be done with the Nest Floodlight.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, but I wanted to make sure that your issue was addressed. Have you had the chance to look at this article on changing the Nest Floodlight settings? I would look through there and make sure you have all of right settings enabled or disabled according to your preference.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.
