Clips converted to html not mp4

When I created clips and saved them they were always saved as mp4 files, now they are being saved as html files.  What changed, why?  How do I get back to saving clip files as mp4???

Thanks for reaching out and I understand your concern about your clips converted from mp4 to html. To confirm, from where are you trying to download the clips? Is it from the Google Home app, Nest app or from your computer? How long is the clip that you're trying to save?
