Complete recording doesn't show.

The past few days when someone has come to my door the recording ends very early. For example. The recording was over a minute long. It says the 1:26 in the thumbnail. But, when I go to view it, it plays for about 10 seconds and stops as if the video is complete. The bottom time lapse bar goes all the way to the right.  This has happened more than once recently and I am on the public preview if that makes any difference. This never used to happen.

Given the anomalies being reported in this forum with the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, as well as all of the Nest app features that are missing (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/13038234#zippy=%2Cnest-app-only-features), we're going to continue avoiding the "Public Preview" version and will not be "transferring" our 1st gen cameras and doorbells there.

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Nest Camera and the app due to you not being able to see the full recording videos, @MplsCustomer. Thank you for the information provided.

Before we start, I have some questions:

  • What model of Nest Camera do you have?
  • What app are you using to see the saved video from your camera?
  • What type of subscription do you have?
