Connect Wi-Fi

I changed the password on my WIFI and i need to scan the code to re-connect.  The issue is mine is mounted at the top of my house with no easy way to scan the code or see the code.  My camera is a 1st generation.  Is there a way for me to connect with a general code?

Unfortunately, Google Nest requires us to scan the QR code or enter the 6-character Setup Code to reinstall cameras and doorbells. Years ago, we started writing down the 6-character Setup Code for each camera and doorbell, so we wouldn't have to unmount them if they needed to get reinstalled.

Hi everyone,

@Myrian, thanks for posting here in the Community. We understand your concern, however, the qr code and setup code are unique to each Nest device and it's required for setting them up with the app. Let us know if you have other questions in mind.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
