Connecting Google/Nest camera to new WIFI mesh that has same SSID and Password

Recently changed wifi mesh network, got rid of the Google mesh, which were failing and got TP-Deco BE11000...works great, but cannot see my cameras in my Google Home App (they are grayed out), also my Nest app shows all my cameras offline. My SSID and password are the same, I kept them the same so all devices could seamlessly connect but all my cameras are offline. How do I connect them? A few cameras are mounted high up, I cannot get to the QR code nor have the six digit code written anywhere...those cameras should just connect to the wifi, it's the same network ID and password!! I also powered down a few cameras but still didn't pop up in the app. Help!!

Hi

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest cameras are not connecting to your new WiFi network, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to help you right now.

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • What type of Nest Camera do you have?
  • What’s the color of the LED status light on the Nest Camera?
  • Did you try to restart the WiFi router?
  • Did you try to factory reset your Nest Camera?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Regards,

Gabriela
