Wow! The Google 'Nest' camera does not work with the Nest application and we have lost all the features that attracted us to this product (e.g. zones, history, and a single application to manage our cameras.) We now need two applications to manage our cameras. I am returning my Google Nest outdoor (battery) camera and will be replacing my other 10 cameras with a manufacturer who understands their customer or at least has a brain. I am left with one word for you.... WOW!!!!!

Hi bhank001, welcome to the hell that people have been going through (like me) that bought the new cameras back in September of 2021. This forum may as well be called the GOOGLE HOME APP FOR NEST CAMS IS NOT USABLE Forum. Such a shame (in my opinion). I'm thinking the Nest Camera has been tarnished for good as Google is taking WAY too long to fix this.

Yeah so much this. I mean why come out with a new product when they didn't want to provide any support for it. This is way too frustrating and then you have their automated `Brad` bot who mostly replies or asks questions and no real answers.

Brad just closes threads so you can’t reply to them. Even though the issues aren’t resolved.

Let me reply before they also close this thread. The new outdoor camera is garbage. I don't see where I can manage my clips for the outdoor camera, plus other features are gone. Once they kill the nest app, I'm switching to RING.
