Data Deletion

We lost all of our data last night (activities recorded). Today, we noticed that we continue to lose our recorded activities. We now only have three to four activities saved at a time, the oldest being deleted as new ones are recorded. What’s the best course of action and Can we get our history back?

We did not have a Nest Aware subscription when we started using this in Aug 2024. So we have never used it before. We have always had the video history in the Google home app for the cameras.

Google Nest cameras and doorbells come with a 30-day free Nest Aware Trial Subscription (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9248198).

If you do NOT have any Nest Aware subscription, then for 2nd gen cameras and doorbells you only get event video history for events that occurred in the most recent 3 hours, and for 1st gen cameras and doorbells you only get snapshots for events that occurred in the most recent 3 hours.
