Nest first generation cameras always lost internet connection and now after one year and 10 months both of my cameras stopped working completely. And after being on the phone with nest support for 11 hours and five emails I was finally told there is no warranty for the product.
Over $500 just thrown away!
From day one each and every day internet connection to the cameras was lost even after purchasing all of the nest internet hubs and boosters.

Sorry to hear about your experience. We are just another Google Nest customer, but it sounds like either your cameras were both defective from the start OR your Wi-Fi signal strength is not strong enough.
Wi-Fi signal strength is key; I can't speak to how well your "Nest internet hubs and boosters" are working. We have two Linksys routers connected to our Xfinity router/modem via ethernet cable and configured in bridge mode to serve as access points. Along with a 3rd-part Wi-Fi antenna on one of our Linksys routers, this provides good Wi-Fi signal strength across multiple channels throughout our house and detached garage. We have just a handful of brief offline events a year for our 3 Google Nest doorbells and 7 Google Nest cameras.
