Defective chime connector need replacement.

I recently installed a Google Nest Doorbell (2nd Gen) at my house. The doorbell works fine; it rings outside, sends notifications to the Home app, and displays video on my Nest monitor. However, my chime does not ring. I tried troubleshooting and discovered that the chime works when the chime connector is removed. After extensive research, I've concluded that the chime connector might be defective, as the chime works without it. Since it is recommended to use the chime connector, could you please guide me on how to get a replacement for it?

You could try contacting Support about a replacement for your chime connector:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
