My nest hello is wired and experienced spotty video coverage for an hour before going dead. Spotty coverage has happened before and was because of WiFi interference which isn't a problem now. I've tried resetting and even removed the unit from the power supply and tried plugging it in using the micro USB port on the rear. The ring light comes on and when the green light comes on at the top of the unit, it goes dead and the process then repeats. It's like it's trying to start up but fails.
I have noticed some time ago that the plastic on the front of the unit has peeled away but all seemed to be fine underneath but today, while examining the unit, the circular lens cover has fallen out.
Is this unit broken? Is there any support for repair etc. our should I just buy a new one?
