So i do not currently have a door bell or chime box. Do i need to hard wire one in or can this just be done all digitally with my new nest hello?

If you do NOT currently have a doorbell or an indoor doorbell chime and transformer, you could purchase the Google Nest Battery Doorbell (https://store.google.com/us/product/nest_doorbell?hl=en-US), as well as a Nest Mini (https://store.google.com/us/product/google_nest_mini?hl=en-US), and turn on the "Visitor announcements" option (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) to get a doorbell sound and an oral announcement sent to the Nest Mini when your doorbell button is pressed.
You need Wi-Fi in your home, and you will need to periodically dismount your doorbell to charge the battery.
If you actually have a 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell and you have an outlet near your door, you can get the OhmKat Power Adapter (https://www.ohmkat.com/products/ohmkat-video-doorbell-power-supply-compatible-with-nest-hello-no-exi... have this--or the Google Nest Power Adapter (https://store.google.com/product/ninety7_indoor_power_adapter_nest_hello?hl=en-US).
