Do you know if the new Nest battery cam will be available on the Nest app?

It makes no sense to me that I have to switch over a different app because the new Nest battery Cam is not available to monitor in the Nest app. Do you know if this situation will be fixed soon?

I am also very frustrated by this. This is the stuff that makes my wife hate going the “tech” route. It’s also frustrating that I purposefully purchased this doorbell to stay within the Google ecosystem, only to find that this particular product is not supported by the nest app, which we like to use over the Google home app.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. At this time, the Nest Hello Battery Doorbell is only available in the Google Home App. Please look out for updates in the future if this should change. Hi KayaKB,   From what I can tell they are looking to phase out the NEST app so I doubt we will see the new cams showing up there.  I believe the goal is to improve the GOOGLE HOME app.  But they have A LOT of work to do and a previous thread said they were looking at sometime in 2022.

I returned both my new cams last week because of all the shortcomings including the inability to to see the new cameras in your computer's web browser.
