I bought the battery doorbell. I see that you can update it to wired. My question is if this will allow for the 24-hour recording? Currently the battery does not allow for 24-hour monitoring but the wired version does. Do I have to buy the only wired version doorbell to get this, or will the battery turned into a wire work?
The battery doorbell runs on battery power even when it is wired. It is trickle charged when wired. As a result, you cannot get 24/7 video history from the battery doorbell even when it is wired:
