Doorbell Notifications after Upgrade

This week I upgraded from a Pixel 6 Pro to a Pixel 9. I transferred all my data over and everything seemed to be fine. I then started noticing that I wasn't receiving notifications from the Nest app. I checked all notification settings and they were exactly the same as what they were previously on the Pixel 6 Pro, which worked fine. I've tried resetting the application including clearing tha cache and data, uninstalling, reboot, reinstall and no luck. I've then even gone to remove the app and the Google Home App, backup my phone, factory reset my phone and manually re-install the Nest App, and still no notifications.

After researching, it seems this has been happening to people who moved to the Pixel 8 series, which is approximately 12 months ago and still Google have no fix. I've just been on to the chat with support and they are "looking into the issue". How can it take so long to look into the incident and manage this problem? You have people paying for your products and Nest Aware subscription and they aren't fit for purpose.

I've found somewhat of a solution. Been experiencing this for about a week. Go to the Google Home App, Settings and Public Preview. I enrolled onto that and after an hour or so, opened the Home app and it asked me if I wanted to permanently move my cameras over. So I did this, and now I'm receiving camera notifications through Home and can Uninstall Nest
