Doorbell Themes

Google, 

I feel like you purposely do this to me every year. I'm a big  🎃Halloween 🎃 guy so I expect my theme to be ready to go.

It's October 3rd,2023. When will my doorbell theme be ready? Why can't you just leave it up all year round? I want spooky theme for every season!

Agreed!! I just went looking for them and am disappointed to not see them there. C'mon Google - give us our doorbell themes!

Got it today! 

Google, just leave the choice on man. Don't give and take seasonally! Just leave it!

For those still not seeing it, Uninstall and reinstall the Nest app and it will be there.

Thank you! I was so sad thinking we wouldn't get any themes. Uninstalled and reinstalled, and it was there. It's not much, at least when compared to the Ring doorbell options, but I guess I'll take it.

The spooky doorbell theme is there for my Nest video doorbell but it is not working like it did last year.  I wish there was a full list of doorbell themes we could choose from all year long.  Or at least make our own!  Both options would be awesome!

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Let me help you out. Just to verify, does the app allow you to select a seasonal theme? Have you tried reinstalling the app?

I got it to too. But it's not working inside with visitor notifications on. What gives??

@Yeagerww, to confirm, are you using a mechanical or digital chime? or are you using your smart speaker?

Hello! We are using multiple indoor smart speakers and a hub max. They worked last year playing the sounds. As well as playing the accompanying video on the Hub Max

Hello Yeagerww,

Are you referring to the Visitors announcements feature from your Nest app or Google Home app? If so, try checking your Nest Hub and Nest speakers if their Do not Disturb is enabled. Try turning them off and see if it will solve the problem.

I'm just referring to the fact that when someone rings the doorbell, the doorbell will chime inside. However, it isn't the Halloween theme
