Doorbell Won't Connect to Anything

So our home lost power in a storm a few weeks back. Our doorbell, a 1st gen lost connectivity, but was still lit up. Today I finally pulled the device out of the bracket and tried a reset. Still no connection. So I factory reset it and went through the set up dialog. It seemed to be going well, it would let me select a wifi network but still wouldn't connect to the wifi.

So instead of pulling the doorbell off each time, I just took a picture of the info on the back of the doorbell.  So I have been trying to get it back online by putting in the 6 digit code. But when it finally gets to the point where I'm supposed to select the proper serial number for my device, no serial numbers come up.  It's like the doorbell is on but unable to connect to anything.  Any ideas for troubleshooting?

@jrw8778

Which doorbell do you actually have? You say you have a "1st gen", but the label on your post say "Nest Doorbell (wired Gen 2)". The problem with no serial number coming up can occur if you're trying to install a doorbell in the wrong app.

The Google Nest Hello Doorbell (sometimes called "1st gen") gets installed in the Google Nest app. The Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) and the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell both get installed in the Google Home app.
