I took my Nest Doorbell Battery off to charge it, but the small black button on the back that stops the doorbell from being removed without using the tool is now stuck in the "pushed in" position meaning that it can't be re-mounted properly and is not secured on the mount. I've tried a few things but can't get the button to come out again. There’s a lot of similar threads so this seems to be a common issue. Has anyone had the same and managed to free it?

Hi @Marpoo,
Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I'm sorry to hear the small black button on the back of your Nest Doorbell (battery) got stuck in the "pushed in" position when you removed it for charging. I understand this is inconvenient, as it's preventing proper remounting and leaving it unsecured on the mount. Help's here!
I appreciate all the effort in trying to resolve this situation. The team would like to learn more about this behavior. When you get a chance, please fill out this form and let us know when you’re finished. We’ll have someone reach out to you via email from there.
Keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenniffer
