Doorbell charging

KUSKER

My Nest Doorbell (battery) was unhooked for several months during a remodel.  Now I am trying to reinstall and recharge and the white light indicating full charge never stops a blink and does not go solid.  I've tried numerous times to reconnect to my network and it always fails.  Any ideas?

Hi @KUSKER

Are you charging your doorbell with the normal USB cable?
Maybe try factory resetting the device?

yes using cable provided with the doorbell.

I have tried the factory reset multiple times.

Hi KUSKER,

I’m sorry to hear that. Let’s see what’s going on — how far is the doorbell from the router? Were there any changes to your Wi-Fi network? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera? Also, What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?

I appreciate your help, RXShorty.

Thanks,

JT
