Doorbell isn't charging

Hi, I've had a doorbell for 2 years and recently had to take it down due to renovations. It's been off the wall for about a month or so. When I put it back, it was out of charge, so I've tried to charge it but there's no lights, no charge, no connection, nothing. I've tried numerous hard resets, but the device seems dead. Can anyone suggest a fix?
