Doorbell through speakers

I bought this doorbell after seeing something from Bang & Olufson saying the speakers now integrated with Google Nest I thought. I want the doorbell to just ring through the speaker, not buy a separate device, but can't figure out how to set it up. Is that possible?

I don't have a Nest base station, but my Wi-Fi goes through a Google Mesh Wi-Fi puck. For my camera base station I just have my Ipad & Iphone with google Home installed. The B&O speaker is the Beoplay M3 and it has bluetooth connection as well as set up as an Airplay 2 speaker over Wi-Fi. The Google Home app recognizes the B&O Speaker as part of its Nest/Home network, but I don't know how to select it as the doorbell device.

Thanks for any help you can give.

[Note the Labels list for this post didn't include doorbell as an option so I just picked the outdoor option].

I know you like to close these questions after 4-5 days of inactivity so I'm thinking I will just return my Nest Doorbell if I don't hear anything back. It's got bells & whistles I don't care that much about, but some basic logical things (like ringing through connected speakers, or using the camera motion detection to activate smart light bulbs) aren't figured out.

Following….been trying to add my Ring to Google speakers….Please help! I know it’s a holiday weekend…so hopefully we will hear something this week…Thank you!!

Hi folks,

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. You can try to set it up with that speaker system, but if you are going to use a speaker for the Nest Hello Doorbell, you may want to use a Nest Hub Max, or something like that. It would be a bit easier to set up. Besides that speaker, you can also set it up with your Phone and have the alerts go through that instead. You definitely have some options, but I cannot say 100% that you can use that product as I do not know much about it I am afraid. Just try adding it to the Google Home App and try setting it up with your Doorbell.

Best Regards,

Brad.
