Doorbell videos not immediately available

EVERYDAY, I get an alert for motion at my doorbell, and when i click to see it, I can see live, but not the VIDEO that recorded it.  IT gives me the same message for hours, not yet available, check back later.

 

The entire purpose of a door cam is to see if say, a MURDERER is in front of my house and maybe i should call 911.

What is the Problem?  I didn't have this problem a year ago, but now its every day. every. day.

I'm about to switch to ring or arlo and start leaving crap reviews because this is no longer a safety device.

Thank you for posting in the community! I know how worried it could be when you don't have immediate access to the video recorded. To assist you better, I will need more information about your Nest Doorbell.

  • What model of the Nest device do you have?
  • What is the mobile app version?
  • When did you first encounter the issue? Does this happen often?
