I fitted my doorbell (wireless) today and noticed that when the doorbell is pressed, there is no sound coming from any of my home devices to say that it has been pressed. No ding done or bells or whatever.
No sound from hub max, no sound from my 2 nest minis, I just get a ping on my phone saying person detected at front door. That's it.
Is there anyway to make a doorbell chime come through my home devices?
Thanks,

Have you turned on "Visitor announcements" in Settings for your doorbell?

Thanks for getting back to me!
I have had that turned on but it's very quiet and all it does is say 'someone is at your door', there's no chime sound or any sort of jingle, it's just words which isn't what I'm looking for. Is there anything else that can be done?

The words "Someone is at your door" are preceded by a chime sound (at least, they always have for us), and that's the only option. The volume depends on the current volume you've set on your Nest Hub or speaker; there's no separate volume option either.

OK maybe I missed the chime as it was so quiet. I'll turn it on and have a go, see if anything changes. Thank you for the assist.
Seems a bit odd that they don't have a separate volume for the doorbell chime though. Oh well.
I'll respond to this again once I've had another try with the announcement settings.

There have been many posts in this forum asking for a separate volume setting for "visitor announcements", as well as the ability to control which devices broadcast the "visitor announcement".
