My outdoor battery cam says it cannot connect due to empty battery. I have it plugged into an outlet outside at all times. We recently had storms and extremely hot weather. I've brought the cam inside and plugged in to recharge but nothing is happening after being inside on charger for 1 day. How long does this take to recharge?

We've had a battery camera--plugged in--for three years now, and it's been online, "Live", and charged through several Minnesota winters and summers. Are you using the optional power cable? (I'm not sure whether it works to use the 1-meter charging cord that comes with the camera to power it on an ongoing basis.) Is your power cable plugged in with the cable feeding towards the FRONT of the camera? (When we go to Setting | Battery, it shows "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol.)

Yes to all. I've had my other cam go offline due to empty battery and haven't had issues having it charged again. The one in question still says 'device offline because of an empty battery'. it's on the charger that the camera came with. I've charged my other battery camera with it before and again never had a problem until now.
