Exposed wire

this is my outdoor cam. Camera stopped working and then I noticed exposed wires. Is this a safety hazard? Are you able to replace it?

If the camera is out of warranty, Nest won't replace it. I did a support chat about this exact issue with my wired camera this morning with support. No replacement, no offer to repair. They recommend I stop using the camera. (My camera still works but the wires are exposed).

You might have better luck so give phone/chat support a try.
