Familymember haw offline camera and ”Away” waiting

Dawwe1974

I have setup my new Google Nest cam indoor(wired)(gen2)on my user account. And I have activated the home/away routines also and it works fine for me. But for my wife as I have added as Family member with all permissions in the Home app., she cant connect to the camera(status offline) and the away/home button  report ”wait”

i have reinstalled my spp, my home and my devices and.still cant get it to work. I have even installed Nest app, and in there i cant see the familymember just me as owner.

Can anyone help me fix thus?

Hi Dawwe1974,

Thanks for posting here in the Community and for sharing with us your issue. As long as you invite her to the same home structure where your Nest Camera is added, she should be able to have access to it. I would suggest you remove her and invite here again. On her end, she may reinstall the Google Home app. New Nest Cameras can only be controlled and set up through the Google Home app and https://goo.gle/2UZL8VI website only. Let us know how it goes.

Hi everyone,

@Dawwe1974 thanks for getting back to us. To further isolate this issue, could you have your wife's email address signed in to your mobile phone and check if she's able to see your Nest Camera as online? You may also do it to her own mobile phone. Try signing in your own email address to her phone. If you have a spare phone, have your wife sign in to that. Keep us posted.

Thanks for following up, JT.

Regards,

Emerson
