Find a lost google battery doorbell nest camera

I recently moved. I can't find my doorbell camera but it is in my house and connected to WiFi, visible in the app. Is there a way to cause the doorbell to ring or play my voice so that I can find the device by sound?

Wow,,, what a great puzzle.  So I don't believe there is a way to have it make a sound.  But what image are you seeing?  Does it go from day to night  mode?  That might hint where it is at.  Or does the image stay the same like it is a box somewhere?

Good idea! I was hoping I could use the microphone function, but I can't even turn the camera on to see a visual. Even if I could...I packed it in the box!

OK wait,  I have an idea.   I have the older nest HELLO doorbell running on the nest app.  And I just looked and I can go look at the camera image and see that the "TALK" button is available  even though no one has hit the doorbell button..  And when I hit it I can talk and the sound comes out the doorbell.   If yours works like this then you can speak into the phone and walk around your house listening for your voice coming from the doorbell.

Yes, that's what I was hoping for but it seems not to let me do this unless it's "mounted." I was hoping there was a way to do it unmounted?

So I don't have that version of the doorbell but I seem to remember reading you can to into the setup of the doorbell and select  "camera mount"  and you can turn off the requirement that it be mounted to function.
