Hi. just installed an outdoor camera. Night vision set to auto. Image flickers from colour to black and white back and forth. If I then set the night vision to off yo stops and stays in colour. When I reset it back to auto it flickers again. How can I get it to not flicker when set to auto night vision. Thank you!!

Hello, I'm an end user like you. It should definitely not be doing that. As a test can you try moving the camera or try aiming the camera in a different direction to see if it is catching a reflection of some kind? When the IR LEDs turn on they could be hitting a surface that is too close to the camera it can get confused and thinks it has become is day time. So it turns off the IR and gets into a loop.
Otherwise it sounds like it may be a broken camera. Can you return or exchange it for a replacement from where you bought it?

Maybe yes. It’s beside a fence so it could be that. Will experiment. Thank you for taking the time to reply!
