Flip camera 90 degrees?

ClausS

Hi, Just bought a Nest Cam (very pleased) and a Nest Doorbell battery (Not so pleased). My problem and anoiance is, that the view is vertical and not horizontal! I really can't use the way to narrow full bodie view and what shoes people are wearing 🥴 but I could for sure use a wide view with the upper half of people (would also fit the Google Nest screen much better when answering through this device).

So the question is, is it possible to flip the camera 90 degrees somewhere in the app (Not physical obviously)?

Hello ClausS,

Thanks for posting here in the community. Rotating the Nest Camera through the app to your desired angle is a cool and interesting feature. We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about rotating the image or angle of the Nest Camera through the Nest app or Google Home app.  I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.

Best,
Emerson
