Floodlight camera won’t power up

Camera worked great until I cut power for remodel. It sat with no power for awhile. Finally moved it and hooked it up turned on like it was new but was having issues on Google home. Deleted device from app then went to readd it and it won’t connect, has power but only to flood lights, indicator light won’t light up for camera and won’t connect to WiFi and infindable in apps

The camera used in the floodlight fixture is actually the Google Nest Battery Camera, which we've had for over 3 years.

How long was your floodlight camera disconnected from power? Perhaps the battery was completely discharged and needs to be recharged.  The status light should pulse white when it is connected to power and is charging.

With the floodlight camera, I don't know whether it has to be dismounted when charging it after being completely depleted, and I don't know if it comes with the same 1-meter charging cord that comes with the battery camera.

It was depleted completely it was off for a few months. But when I originally moved the camera it turned on just fine. It just wouldn’t save any movements or give notifications when it was activated so I looked into it and it said to delete it from app and reconnect but since then it won’t work. Status light won’t even show a color

Maybe the camera got damaged when it was unplugged and the battery depleted completely. You could not have prevented that, since there's no way to completely shut the camera off: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247651

You could try contacting Support to see if they can resolve it or replace the camera:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
