What is the recommended mounting height for the Nest Cam with floodlight ?

On its sister product, the single stand-alone nest cam, it recommends 7 to 10 feet.

With the inclusion of the floodlights, can we go a little higher ?

While we don’t have a recommended mounting height for the Nest Cam with Floodlight, when installing the camera, you may want to consider that its motion sensor has a 180° horizontal field of view and a range of up to 25 ft (7.5 m).

Also, keep in mind what you want to keep an eye on, things that can block or affect the view, and the Wi-Fi range.
