Floodlight not responding

Soft_Doc

We installed a nest camera with floodlights a couple days ago. It is wired with power and the camera says it is connected to power. The floodlight is now saying that it is “not responding”. The camera is 15 feet off the ground so I would rather not get on a ladder to check it out. By cycling power to it from the breaker, the light does turn on and follow the “auto on” for 5 minutes setting.

Is there anything I need to do from within the app to get it connected? We have multiple other cameras and floodlights and don’t have any issues with any of those.

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad

Hey. Yes I saw the response. Resetting the camera didn’t help but somehow it fixed itself after a few days…. You can mark this thread as closed and I can open a new one if I have further issues!
