So my buddy just gave me this nest camera and i have tried setting it up multiple times but cant get it to show up in the nest or google app i have gotten as far as to enter the 6 digit code under the bottom plate of the camera into the app but then it asks me to select the last four of the serial number that matches that on my device and nothing ever shows up it just stays blank no options apprear

I have the same problem where it asked me to scan the QR CODE but as my cam is second hand it doesnt come with QR Code. After inserting the 6 digit code underneath the cam nothing shows. Supposedly i need to choose the Serial Number

They have to remove it from the previous account it was attached too. Then they need to be factory reset. If this does not happen you won't be able to use it unfortunately.

I set up a Nest Cam in my home, testing how to do it before installing it at my mother-in-law's. Are you saying I cannot set it up someplace else? Does Google have to remove and reset it?
