Gen 2 wired camera viewing

I received 2 new generation 2 cameras to replace our old ones free from google.  I installed them where I had the old cameras.   However, when viewing the camera is off by 90 degrees.  We don’t walk on the walls but that’s what I’m looking at.  The cameras can change 180 but nothing in between??  If the 90 degree can’t work, how about changing the view from landscape to portrait?  Is that at all possible? How can I fix this issue?

On the newer cameras--as on the older cameras--all Google Nest offers is to invert the image by 180 degrees.  But the head on the 2nd gen indoor camera swivels on the base.

It swivels but still show up sideways.  I want it to show it in portrait rather than landscaped.  Everything is sideways.  Either put it in portrait or need to move 90 degrees.

Sorry. I'm just another Google Nest customer.

Hi everyone,

@Sharon2965, thanks for reaching out here in the Community and for sharing here your concern. Could you post here the screenshot of the current view of your Nest Camera and how would you like to change it? If you need to mount your Google Nest camera on a ceiling or overhang, or at an odd angle to get the view you want, you can adjust the video so that it's right side up. In many cases, you can simply turn or twist the camera. If that’s not possible, you can flip the video 180 degrees with the Home app or Nest app. Hit this link for more information and let us know how it goes.

I appreciate your response, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
