Google Cameras Won't Work With New Netgear Orbi Wifi6 Router

We recently upgraded our router from the Google Wifi to a Netgear Orbi Wifi6 Router/System (model RBK763S).  I have been able to get several Google products to work with Nest & Google Home on the new router (Google Hub Max, Google Doorbell) but I cannot get any of the outside cameras to work.  This would include both wired cameras as well as a battery camera.  I know that 2.4 ghz is available & working because there are a number of other things in the home that require that and I was easily able to get them to work with the new router.  I tried changing the name of the router to the same one that we had on the Google Wifi but that didn't make a difference.  Really don't want to return the router because it is much better than the previous one but also want to be able to use our security cameras.  Any suggestions?  TIA

Google Nest doesn't make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings on Google Nest devices. That's why their first recommendation when getting a new router/modem is to set the network name (SSID) and password to the same values used on the old router/modem.

Otherwise, the basic process is to remove the devices from the Google Nest app or Google Home app while still on the old Wi-Fi network, then do a factory reset, and then reinstall the devices in the Google Nest app or Google Home app while on the new Wi-Fi network.

Hello everyone,

@Montanaandy, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. When connecting the Nest Cameras to a new router, you need to reset all of them to the factory default. Remove them from your app and add it back. In case you need the steps on how to reset them to the factory default, you may visit our public article about "Restart or factory reset Nest camera or doorbell".

Looking forward to your response.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Did that and the cameras still don't connect/work.  Tried uninstalling the Nest app and reinstalling it.  Curiously the Nest Thermostat, Nest Doorbell, & Hub Max all connected up just fine with the new Wifi mesh router.  I am using the same name on the Wifi as I did with the prior Google Mesh system.  I have unplugged the camera repeatedly to reset it - there isn't a way to do a hard reset unlike the battery operated cameras that I have installed at another location which have a reset button on the back and which allowed me to easily install those when I upgraded the mesh Wifi system.  It is strange to me that the thermostat, doorbell & Hub Max all easily found the new network and operate just fine but the cameras can't/won't.  At this point absent any help/suggestions I am going to trash the cameras which is ridiculous but I need to have security cameras that are operational.
