Google Discontinuing Nest Products and the Nest App is a HUGE MISTAKE

Hi,

I have an entire family of Nest products (6 outdoor cameras, doorbell, indoor cameras, and multiple Nest Protects and a thermostat). Today I went to purchase another product and learned that the new cameras are not compatible with the Nest App.

WHAT IN THE WORLD???

No, thanks, then I won't buy it. I won't buy another Nest product because this is outrageous.

Why did Google purchase Nest in the first place? Products are being discontinued and the app is being discontinued? This is heartbreaking, to say the least.

I knew I hated Google.

To add insult to injury, you are unable to provide feedback on any of the original Nest devices when posting suggestions. Unbelievable.

Google bought Nest, destroyed it, and now I have to find another camera company.

Disgusting.

yeah super frustrating I literally just got my floodlight camera set up and kept going on the Nest app and couldn’t find it when I googled it I learned that everything is going to be housed on the Google Home app. It’s a little bit of a pain in the ass but it does work the same exact way it just makes us break our normal habits.
Just go to the google home app they are all there!

  • Open the Google Home app

Google Home app

  • At the top right, tap your account.
  • Tap Feedback 

and then

  • tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  • To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  • In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  • Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  • To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send
