I recently found a huge flaw in the Google Home app with Nest cameras. When trying to view history the video feed will continue to play the live audio from said camera. This means when you try to pull video history you can't hear for that event.
Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no change. Any one else experiencing this or know a good fix?

Since this is a user forum it would be best for you to report this directly to google from within the Google Home app. To do this go into the app and select the FEEDBACK option.

Hello Brad, this issue is at a Google app level. I've factory reset my phone, tried a different phone. Confirmed latest app. Cleared app data. Tried wifi or cellular connection.
Still same issue, it's not the only bug relating the the cameras I've found. But never an change on Google's part.

Yea sadly I've done that multiple times through the app and nothing changes. It's why I posted on here hoping for another avenue of contact.

I understand your frustration for sure. I am afraid I do not have a solution for this issue either. Maybe this new update will help.
Best regards,
Brad.

Well this issue is not as long as the one with my Nest thermostat that I've had since July 2021 that hasn't been resolved lol

I am afraid I cannot offer you assistance with your Thermostat, but I would suggest that you reach out to that forums for further assistance with your Thermostat.
Best regards,
Brad.
