I have numerous Nest cameras, some Version 1, IQ indoor, IQ outdoor and new version 2’s. I have my cameras setup as favorites, to mimic the Nest app camera view, and so that I can see live video of my cameras on the Google Home Favorites tab.
The “new” Google home only nest cameras stream video flawlessly as do the Gen 1 cameras I moved from Nest to Google Home. However the cameras I haven’t moved (and can’t move) show live video but it is choppy. Like it is just getting a snapshot and displaying the snapshot every 3-5 seconds. These cameras do not show a clean, smooth live view as they do on the nest app.
Frustrating that the live view on the favorite tab doesn’t appear to render the Nest cameras well. If I go into the camera individually on the google home app, the feed is fine.

Devices have excellent signal strength and stream perfectly in the nest app. It is when viewing those exact same cameras in the Google home app, they are unwatchable in the favorites section.
