Google Home / Nest door bell not all settings available on my wife's phone.

The settings are not the same.

We both have the same phone, running the same software versions (Android, Nest & Home).

She is missing Notification, events and video.

How can this be corrected?

Thanks for posting here in the community! I'm sorry to hear that your Google Home app doesn’t display the same settings in your wife’s phone as yours about the Nest Doorbell. 

 

To better investigate the inconvenience, could you please provide the following information:

 

  • What is the model of your mobile device?
  • Is this the first time you’re experiencing this inconvenience?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before?
  • Do you have any other home members added to the Google Home app? If so, are they experiencing the same situation?

In the meantime, I’d suggest the following steps:

 

  • Check if your wife's phone is under the same home structure and if she is using the same Google account that was added to your Google Home app account.
  • Make sure your mobile device, Google Home app, and Nest app have the latest software updates installed on both mobile devices.
  • Try deleting your wife's account as a member from your Google Home app, then adding it back to the structure. For reference, you can consult this article: Share a home and devices in the Google Home app.
  • Try reinstalling the Google Home app and Nest app on your wife's phone and logging in with the same Google account that was added in your Google Home app.
